Auto Security Quip was established in 1994 with the purchase of the No-Start & STOP THIEF Immmobiliser distributorship for South Australia, by current Owner/Manager - Peter Schultz.
With a keen interest in motorsport, 4wd vehicles & all gadgets electronic, plus over 20 years experience travelling to all corners of Australia, Peter knew the importance of "If it's going to last, it has to be done properly the first time", and this ideal is carried on today with all of our Installations & training of our technicians!
With a small range of basic but very effective locally manufactured immobilisers, we offered a completely mobile, sales & installation service to a small base of Trade (Car dealers, workshops, auto electricians etc) & Retail customers, many of whom we still service today.
Being mobile we were able to offer on-site service with a quick, convenient response time & soon established a reputation for Quality Products & Installations combined with excellent Service & Back-up, not always available to many of our City & Country based clients.
Today our range has expanded from 2 models of basic immobilisers, to a comprehensive range of Electronic Vehicle Accessories including, Vehicle Security Systems - from basic Touch-Key, or Proximity Type to completely integrated multi-cut Remote Immobiliser Systems, full featured Alarm Systems to the complete Brant Nemesis System incorporating 6 immobiliser cuts, specialising in Insurance Approved Security Systems for Imported Vehicles - including the installation of the Factory Subaru Alarm Systems for WRX, STI & B4 models, also convenience products like central locking & key-less entry, a full range of AusCruise Cruise Controls including specialised models for the new "drive-by-wire" vehicles, ShuRoo - an electronic kangaroo deterrent, & a select range of Quality In-Car Entertainment, Sound & Navigation Systems form Blaupunkt, JVC & Kenwood.
